More commonly known as Deep Creek, Deserter's Creek trail begins at the intersection of West Fraser Rd and Narcosli Creek and has many lookouts and viewpoints as hikers wind their way up along the creek to a waterfall and a small watering hole. Wildlife, including bears, eagles, deer, cougars, and even sometimes mountain goats can be seen. At the base of the trail there is an outhouse and two picnic tables, and there are some benches on the way up. Note: One section of the trail is washed out along the creek bank, make sure to exercise caution along this portion of the trail.
