Description / Notes

The West Fraser Centre: The West Fraser Centre, jointly funded by the City of Quesnel and the Cariboo Regional District, hosts skating, hockey, and spectator events throughout the fall and winter. Rent ice time throughout the year, come play drop-in hockey at lunch hour, or sit and enjoy a league game. Outdoor rinks: Quesnel is home to two outdoor skating rinks, one on Lewis Dr in the West Village and one at the Bouchie Lake Community Hall just west of town. Both are maintained and open for public use 24/7. Skating on lakes: There are also opportunities to skate on many of our lakes - locals often clear patches of snow for use. If venturing onto open ice, please take notice of weather patterns and take safety precautions as ice thickness can change quickly. Bring your own skates!
