Meet John Courtney

Outdoor adventurers John Courtney moved to Quesnel partly for its access to so many amazing outdoor activities and partly for its friendly, small-town atmosphere.

John has extensive experience in retail when the opportunity arose for them to start their own retail venture. With the timing right and the community in need of gear for outdoor sports, he took the plunge and opened Rocky Peak Adventure Gear.

As president of Gold Rush Cycling Club and a key proponent of developing mountain bike trails throughout the area, John is passionate about getting people outdoors and helping them to take advantage of everything that Quesnel and the surrounding area has to offer.
