The Quesnel Festival of the Performing Arts is celebrating our 40th Anniversary! Our 2023 Festival runs from Feb 17th – May 20th and includes Dance, Piano, Speech, Vocal/Choral and Band/ Instrumental. The QFPA is a not-for-profit society, run by a group of volunteers who are devoted to sparking and encouraging a life-long passion for the Performing Arts. Our annual festival provides incredible opportunities for aspiring performers as well as fans of the performing arts.

Mark your calendar!! First up is our Dance Festival February 17th – 20th at the Chuck Mobley Theatre, Correlieu Secondary School, 850 Anderson Drive. We are devoted to providing a venue where aspiring performers and choreographers can showcase their talents while entertaining community members and performing arts fans! Performances run from 9 am – 9pm. Group numbers will be scheduled during the last session of each day so we can ensure supporters can come out and enjoy an evening of quality entertainment. Please come and support our young dancers. All are welcome!

If you dance and would like an opportunity to participate, registration for the 2023 QFPA Dance Festival is now open! Entries can be submitted via DanceComp Genie https://quesnel.dancecompgenie.com. The OFPA 2023 Dance Syllabus has all the registration details and is available on our website www.qfpa.org.
In honour of our 40th Anniversary, the QFPA will be awarding CASH PRIZES and adding some special touches! Our dance festival is an excellent opportunity to work with a trained PABC adjudicator, learn, grow and have fun!! Register today!
Selected dancers may be selected to compete at a provincial level! Performing Arts BC has added 2 new classes; Virtual Group Dance Classes and a where a Provincial Excellence Class. Cash prizes will also be awarded. For more information please visit www.performingartsbc.com.
