Official Rules
1. Contest Overview
To celebrate and support our amazing Love Quesnel businesses, we’re hosting a fun scavenger hunt! Solve riddles and visit local businesses for a chance to win gift cards to local businesses. The scavenger hunt clues will be posted on our Facebook page at the beginning of each contest period, listed below.
There will be three contest periods:
- Contest 1: 9 AM December 8, 2025 – 4:00 PM December 11, 2025.
- Contest 2: 9 AM December 12, 2025 – 4:00 PM December 15, 2025
- Contest 3: 9 AM December 16, 2025 – 4:00 PM December 19, 2025
2. How to Enter
- Each contest will feature 8–9 riddles, each pointing to a Love Quesnel business. They will be posted on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/lovequesnel/) at the start of each contest period.
- Icons indicate what to do for each riddle:
- ✏️ Pencil Icon: Find the secret word on the business’s Love Quesnel page.
- 📷 Camera Icon: Take a photo of yourself in front of the business.
- Collect all required photos and hidden words for that contest period.
- Submit your completed entry by messaging your photos and answers to Love Quesnel on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/lovequesnel/). Make sure to include:
- All photos
- All hidden words
- Your name and contact information
- Only one completed entry per person per contest period is allowed.
- Incomplete entries will not be eligible.
3. Contest Period
- Contest 1: 9 AM December 8, 2025 – 4:00 PM December 11, 2025.
- Contest 2: 9 AM December 12, 2025 – 4:00 PM December 15, 2025
- Contest 3: 9 AM December 16, 2025 – 4:00 PM December 19, 2025
- Entries submitted outside this time frame will not be considered.
4. Winner Selection
- All completed entries will be entered into a random draw.
- One winner will be selected per contest period.
- Winners will be contacted via messenger within 7 days of the contest closing date.
- If a winner does not respond within 7 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
5. Prizes
- Contest 1: $200 in gift cards to local Love Quesnel businesses
- Contest 2: $300 in gift cards to local Love Quesnel businesses
- Contest 3: $500 in gift cards to local Love Quesnel businesses
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- All prizes must be claimed by January 30, 2025. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
6. Eligibility
- Open to residents aged 18 and older (or with parental consent if under 18).
- Employees of the contest organizer and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
- No purchase necessary to enter or win.
7. Additional Rules
- By entering, participants agree to allow the contest organizer to use their name and submitted photos for promotional purposes.
- The contest organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time for any reason.
- The organizer is not responsible for technical issues, lost entries, or delays in communication.
- The contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and awarding prizes. It will not be shared or sold to third parties.
