SS Quesnel Paddlewheeler River Boat Mural

Originally painted in the 1980's by artist Jason Curtis and touched up in 2007-2008 by Maureen Hobbs Wheeler. Then, in 2020, the West Quesnel Business Association and the West Quesnel Barber Shop commissioned Maureen Hobbs Wheeler to completely redo the entire mural with new materials. Maureen, who at the time was working at the City Landfill, rescued a little stubby-eared kitten and painted him into the wheelhouse of the boat.
