The inspiration for the business began with Jamie's own lil’ red pony, Ty. When Ty faced health challenges, there were no local resources or supplies available to meet his needs. That experience revealed a clear gap in the community and sparked a mission: to bring accessible, high‑quality animal health and wellness products to Quesnel.

Jamie Delves, owner of Lil Red Pony Feed & Supplies, has called Quesnel home since 2011 after moving from Haida Gwaii. Deeply community‑minded and relationship‑oriented, Jamie values the people who make up Quesnel’s diverse and supportive business community. She takes pride in the genuine connections she’s built with customers from all walks of life as these connections that continually reaffirm her love for this city.
Having built Lil Red Pony from the ground up and seeing her vision become a thriving, community‑supported business is one of Jamie's greatest accomplishments.
An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Jamie loves Quesnel for its full four seasons and the opportunities they offer. Whether she’s horseback riding, exploring with her dogs, or working in her garden, she appreciates the beauty and space Quesnel provides. She’s especially fond of the rural night sky as the stars and moon offering the kind of quiet brilliance that inspires her love for moon‑gazing and the reminder that there is always light within the darkness.
Outside the store, Jamie's love for classic vehicles has made her a proud member of the Quesnel Prospector's Car Club, and her appreciation for geology and natural treasures fits right in with the Quesnel Rock Hounds.
